Take a close look at some of the
other grinding rails available out there. You'll see some less
expensive ones like the ones that have 3 or 4 legs depending upon length.
The first inclination would be to see that and think; "It must be stronger
and better balanced with that extra leg."
And at first glance that logic makes perfect sense. |

The truth is that they're
made of a thin
16 gauge (or weaker) low quality metal
on their grinding rails!
This means that it simply won't stand up to the rigors of a
serious skateboarder, let alone BMX riders.
That extra leg
is required to keep it from bending in the middle and collapsing!
So while it has the illusion of strength, it is still just an illusion.
Now let's take a look a bit deeper.
You add to that the difficulty of finding a
completely flat and level concrete surface!
Without that totally flat surface, you're grinding on a teeter-totter.
Not good. There's a
serious safety hazard with that and not what you want to subject yourself to if it can
at all be avoided. After all, safety and security is important to each and every one of us
isn't it?
